A block of sleeping rooms is available for symposium attendees until Friday, March 1, 2019 (single or double room). Contact the hotel directly and ask for the “Keeping our Faculty” group in order to be placed under the block.
Parking
Parking is available on a first come, first serve basis, in the parking lot located behind the Hotel. A daily parking fee, currently at $20.00 plus tax per day, per vehicle, applies which includes "in-and-out" privileges to registered overnight guests or $27.00 plus tax per day for Valet Parking.
The Graduate Hotel offers guests an on-site fitness center, complimentary access to the U of M fitness facilities, a business center, and complimentary transportation within a five-mile radius of the hotel. The Graduate Hotel is three minutes from downtown Minneapolis and provides easy access to several attractions, including the TCF Stadium, Target Field, the Metrodome, and the Mall of America.

Conference participants are encouraged to explore all that Minneapolis-St. Paul has to offer. Some suggested activities include:
- A trip to the largest enclosed mall, the Mall of America. The mall has over 520 stores, an indoor amusement park, and plenty of restaurants and entertainment.
- Visit the Mill City Museum. Built into the ruins of what was once the world’s largest flour mill, Mill City Museum is located on the historic Mississippi Riverfront. Here, visitors of all ages learn about the intertwined histories of the flour industry, the river, and the city of Minneapolis.
- Explore downtown Minneapolis. Grab a bite to eat, catch a movie, or see a show…downtown Minneapolis has it all. Search the many activities available on the Minneapolis Downtown Council website.
- The Minnesota Science Museum, located in downtown St. Paul, is a large regional science museum located on the banks of the Mississippi River. The Science Museum's programs combine research and collection facilities, a public science education center, extensive teacher education and school outreach programs, and an Imax Convertible Dome Omnitheater to provide science education to our audience of more than a million people per year.
